Lark

$125.00

Wheel-thrown bird-footed bowl | Reclaimed stoneware | 4" diameter × 5.5" tall | Oregon clay

She knows.

Lark is wheel-thrown from reclaimed stoneware — a mix of every clay body that's passed through the Portland studio, fired into something with a very clear sense of self. The feather collar is coral — warm, slightly brash, completely unapologetic about it. The kind of color that doesn't ask permission. The bowl is speckled silver-white, luminous and cool against all that warmth below, the black glass frit speckles pushing through like punctuation. The legs are Amaco Saturation Gold, fired to near-black with that signature luster — long, dark, and entirely confident about both of those things.

The contrast between the coral feathers and the silvery bowl is the whole conversation. Warm and cool. Soft and sharp. Coral saying everything, silver saying nothing, both of them completely right.

She stands alongside Scout and Wren — three birds, three completely different glaze stories, one Flock.

One of a kind. Lark exists only once.
